  • GERLESBORGSSKOLAN

    The Gerlesborg School of Fine Art (Gerlesborgsskolan) is an art institution with a prestigious history of more than 70 years. It is situated both in Bohuslän and in Hjorthagen, in the centre of Stockholm.

    Gerlesborgsskolan offers basic university training in fine arts and on-going training for artists and other groups. Because of its pedagogical proficiency, its attractive locations and its proximity to the public, the school has a reputation of being at the forefront of art and visual teaching in Scandinavia.

    In addition the school offers an extensive programme including lectures, exhibitions and concerts all of which contribute to the school’s atmosphere of a thriving meeting place of cultural activity.

  • KEðJA

    Keðja is an informal, international network of dance organisations that aima to create open meeting places for those working with dance. Keðja facilitates events that inspire individuals from dance communities to meet, share and learn and empowers dance professionals to connect and collaborate.

    In August 2023, Keðja organises STRETCH - a lab for dance artists from Nordic and Baltic countries, Slovenia and Scotland. Hosted and supported by Region Västra Götaland, the lab invites dance artists to explore dance and heritage.

    STRETCH lab 2023 will take place at Vitlycke-CPA and Vitlycke Museum 28 August - 2 September. On the last day of the lab, Keðja and HERE:2023 presents a Dance Encounter.

  • BEYOND FRONT@

    Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery is a Creative Europe project (2023-2026) created by Central Europe Dance Theatre – CEDT (Hungary), Bunker (Slovenia), HIPP (Croatia), Krakow Dance Theatre (Poland), M Studio (Romania) and Vitlycke – Centre for Performing Arts (Sweden) to foster local development of the contemporary dance fields in Europe.

    Recognizing the present fragile situation of the contemporary dance sector, the project aims to enhance the capacity building and collaborative approaches.

    HERE:2023 will present performances from partner countries, organize a Dance Communication Lab and present an improvised performance with lab’s participants.
